A Senior management professional with manufacturing experience spanning
over 40 years beginning with EIL (Engineers India Limited).Where he held
several key positions and responsibilities for over 24 years providing
engineering consultancy to refineries, petrochemicals, off-shore
platforms, and oil & gas industry complexes in India and several
enterprises globally. Extending in the field of Automation and
Electrical sciences.
Currently a business mentor and advisor at Mentor wise, helping
transform businesses of manufacturing companies largely aligned with
automation. Venkat served as Automation Research Head for India and
South East Asia at ARC Advisory Group, a pioneering US based global
automaton and enterprise industry research firm in the domain of
manufacturing, supply chain, and enterprise solutions including energy
optimization, enterprise manufacturing IT, and asset lifecycle
management systems. Frequently shares his expertise in industry forums
and partakes in rollouts of technology initiatives.
Venkat, is involved actively with International Society of Automation
(ISA) over the last two decades including two stints as President of the
section. Having served as Chairman of ISA Bangalore trust in the
preceding years, he continues to be a trustee of the section as also an
active member of the Executive committee. He is a Director on Board of
HBP Indian School, Bangalore, one of the oldest schools in Bangalore
(1854) and also serves as trustee in IIH (Indian Institute of Hams), an
entity of amateur radio operators in South India.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, from UVCE
Bangalore and MBA (Finance).
