Science & Electronic Engineering graduate with an MBA in Marketing has nearly 45 years experience in the field of Inspection, Quality Control, Technical documentation, Standardization, Defect Analysis and Sales and Marketing.
For 13 years in Defense Organization (Army, Navy and Air Force) as Scientific Officer was responsible for inspection and testing of Radars and Communication equipment at BEL. Indigenized many electronic components during emergency period to save Foreign Exchange. Introduced inspection standards.
For 4 years as Sales Manager at Siltronics, the first Indian Company to manufacture CZ and FZ Silicon wafer and was responsible to deliver wafers to semiconductor and solar cell production. Converted 100 Kg poly inventory held by BEL into wafers in 1985.
Founded Four-C-Tron in 1989 to provide Sales & Service support. Established 11 Turnkey Solar Module Production Lines from Spire solar USA at Emvee solar, Vikram Solar, Alpex solar and others. Supplied diffusion furnaces, wet benches for Solar cell production line. In 1992 based on Four-C-Tron advise M/S Krempel Germany manufactured Backsheet and the first customer was from India.
Extensively travelled overseas since 1987 to USA, Europe region, UK, Russia, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan to visit wafer manufacturers, wafer Fabs & packaging industries, solar cell & module manufactures and to attend Electronica, Productronica, Semicon, Intersolar, Medical, Healthcare & Cleanroom exhibitions- more than 40 times. Visited Korea 3 times on sponsorship from KOTRA to develop business for MEMS and Opto-Electronics.
Contributed following articles on Cleanroom, *Solar policy, Solar journery with EQ, *Standardization on BOMs for Module Production in Solar magazines and was honored as “Human of Solar”.
